Mrs Rowe's has been a dining landmark of the Shenandoah Valley since 1947.
Being located right off I-81 brings in all kinds of patrons who travel up and down the Valley as well as many locals. Great home-cooked favorites include fried chicken, ham and steaks, accompanied by greens, macaroni and cheese, and homemade mashed potatoes. The decor is home-style with down-home southern hospitality a look of tradition that dates back before the fast-food chains. The fresh pies and desserts at Rowe's will bring back memoirs with the home-style flavor they all love and enjoy.
My husband and I love this family restaurant! They serve home-cooked goodness in every bite. A co-worker first told me about this place several years ago and we never miss a chance to eat here when we're in the area. Highly recommend you try it. You won't be disappointed.
